Ecological Characteristics of Miang Gardens
in Tawan Village Rueang Sub-district, Mueang District, Nan Province
It revealed that there were 14 species of plants, 14 genera, and 11 families. Density was 4,473 Stems/ha and basal area was 11.13 m2/ha, respectively. The Shannon-Weiner index was 0.16. It was found that 5 first Relative Density (RD) were Miang tea, almond wood, rambutan, barking deer’s mango, and black rosewood, with the RD 97.76, 0.30, 0.30, 0.15 and 0.15%, respectively. Miang tea, almond Wood, barking deer’s mango and black rosewood and santol were the 5 highest Relative Dominance (RDo), with the RDo 78.32,111.75,3.98,2.86 and 1.52%, respectively. The 5 first Important Value Index (IVI) were Miang tea, almond wood, barking deer’s mango, rambutan, and black rosewood, with the IVI of 226.08,18.53,7.46,6.98 and 6.34, respectively.
