
Recommended route for Agro-tourism (Route for Miang tea study)
Once the arch sign of Tawan village on the road to Rueang subdistrict is seen, the first attraction visitors see on their right would be Sri Napan Temple where they can stop by to make merit, pay respect to the main Buddha image, and witness the beauty the temple has to offer. Then, visitors should head to the Miang Tea Seedling Nursery Center to study about how to grow them. After that, it's recommended to visit the Chao Luang Pa Miang Shrine in order to learn more deeply about the ancient ritual passed down for generations, and to pay respect to the vassal of miang forest, who is believed to help protect any trekkers in the deep forest. Once ensured on the supernatural protection, visitors can cross a clear, serene creek and step their feet in the Miang Tea Garden to learn its ecological characteristics located among the green and refreshing mountain foot. What it has to offer include a forest of tea plants, ready to be harvested and learned about the perfect conditions for Miang tea plants. Off the mountain, there are Miang Tea Demonstration Plots. The land is supported by Mr. Pleng Manoworn. The progress of the processed Miang tea leaves is on display at Miang Tea Processing Learning Center and Bamboo Rattan Weaving Wisdom Center where they apply the bamboo rattan to bundle up the tea leaves and create various kinds of handicrafts. Visitors can witness the journey of tea leaves from its beginning at how to grow them in the forest, to the end of how to process it.
